M.Hulot - The Thoughtful Edit
A beautiful new design-led store was due to open the week the Covid-19 Lockdown was announced. The first M.Hulot Bricks and Mortar shop was planned to open in the centre of Cambridge this March, and we were delighted for PIPÉT to be part of brand director Anna Kreeger's vision to celebrate provenance, making and design in fashion.
Alongside their beautiful leather bags, accessories and new line of clothing, Anna had selected brands for their colour, materials and stories, but also those that sat in line with her ethos of supporting local British design and manufacture.

Literally due to open its doors when it was ruled everyone else's should close, you can imagine how much hard work had already gone into curating the shop display, organising the designers and arranging and making stock - as well as everything that goes into securing new premises. A tremendous amount of work, which we don't want to go unnoticed.

I've had the pleasure to take part in a number of Pop-Up events in the past with Anna as well as several of the brands selected for the M.Hulot shop. Being in like-minded company is a great boost for any designer - not to mention a delight for the customers. It's not always easy to find so many high quality items that can be teamed together so gracefully.

It's with great sadness that the shop is on hold, but I wanted to share this venture with you - especially if you've not yet come across M.Hulot.
