SoLo Craft Fair - Chelsea Pop Up Store
SoLo Craft Fair, who are normally known for their pop-up markets across South London, will operate the independent gift shop on behalf of their makers. Each month the shop will play host to over 60 small businesses selling everything from art to fashion to homeware and more.
We are delighted to be part of this community of makers and will be selling a selection of our colourful fashion, travel and wellness accessories and eco gifts for all you design-led shoppers to enjoy.
Be sure to pop in regularly and see what new things we have in store for you!

5-15 Dec | Solstice @ Springbank
A winter selling exhibition at Springbank Studio, filled with a curated selection of work from local designers & makers. The space will be transformed into a twinkling winter wonderland, celebrating the return of the light in the middle of the darkest month. You can find a handpicked selection of our scarves, accessories and stocking-filler items perfect for Christmas gifting.
Throughout the show, a variety of workshops will be available including special sessions from Making Mums and some playful solstice mask-making workshops at the weekends. Visit Springbank studio for more details: springbankstudio
14 Dec | The Crossing - Christmas Market
Find the perfect gift for that special someone at the Crafty Fox Christmas Market in Kings Cross. From affordable stocking fillers to that extra special item we will have our colourful silk scarves, accessories and range of wellness goods.

In this practical hands-on workshop, you will learn how to print your own fabrics using transfer dyes and painted paper. Working with the heat press you will be guided through a variety of experimental cutting techniques, leaving the session with a selection of printed fabric samples for you to develop and build your ideas on.

A brand new event to help sewists easily find eco sewing supplies. Along with inspiring talks and bookable workshops, you can find handmade buttons, organic fabrics, vintage and deadstock fabrics. Sewing patterns produced sustainably plus digital apps and subscriptions to help you make the most of your sewing stash. I'll be bringing you a small selection of leftover fabrics, trims and haberdashery from our studio shelves, some rare Liberty fabrics, and a few of our own studio design samples.

10 Sept | Open House London - New Collection Launch event
To celebrate Open House London we will be launching our new architecturally inspired scarves at the Craft Central x Open House Makers’ Market. This is a one-day pop-up event, offering customers a first opportunity to shop our new products in person preceding the online launch.
Visitors can enjoy a tour our purpose-built studio premises and discover the creative practices that take place within the historic old Forge industrial building.

We are delighted to announce that our new scarves are almost here!
Celebrating London’s architecture through shape, colour and composition, designer Gina Pipet’s latest prints look to her capital’s industrial past as inspiration. Boasting a radiant sunburst motif, the Art Deco influences of the era are captured though the oversized graphics, aspirational scale and exciting geometric forms that are recognisable within the design. Styles include our classic 90cm square and popular skinny and mini scarves, each available in five confident colour options.
The full collection will be available in our online shop from the 17th September, straddling both the London Fashion Week 16-20th and London Design Festival 17–25th Sept.

You can discover our tricks of the trade as we present our new scarf design alongside a selection of fabrics, colour tests, and digital presentation works. See how we have translated our designs onto a variety of art prints, and enjoy our recent commission from Coin Street Community Builders installed on The Bargehouse itself.

We will be selling a range of fashion and lifestyle accessories including our classic silk scarves and umbrellas, smaller travel purses and new silky sleep masks -perfect for those special Christmas gifts. This is a public fundraising event with a portion of proceeds donated to Maggie's Centre, helping support those living with cancer. Take part in the prize winning raffle!

9 OCT | London Craft Week - 'Introduction to Heat Press Printing' Workshop
Join brand designer Gina Pipet in this fun fabric printing workshop as part of London Craft Week's creative events. In this practical hands-on class, you will learn how to print your own fabrics using transfer dyes and painted paper. Working with the heat press you will be guided through a variety of experimental techniques, leaving the session with a selection of printed fabric samples for you to develop and build your ideas on.
We will be working with reclaimed fabric off-cuts and remnants that have been salvaged from the fashion industry.
The event is hosted by Craft Central and will take place in their impressive renovated industrial Grade 2 listed building at The Forge.

29 Jun | Chiswick Oasis - Opening Launch with Mayor of London
PAINTING OUR AIRLITE AIR-PURIFYING MURAL
Date: 29th June 2019
Two years ago St Mary’s RC Primary School in Chiswick was audited by the Mayor’s Office among the 50 most polluted schools in London. In 2018 a group of parents set out to change all that and turn it into one of the greenest by building a green infrastructure in St Mary’s playground separating the school from the A4 (with a flow of at least 80,000 vehicles a day).
I was delighted to be asked by London architect Joanna Hoehenwarter - a parent and member of Chiswick Oasis - to design a special mural for their playground which was to be painted by the children, parents and visitors (including guest of honour the Mayor of London) with a special air-purifying paint at the Grand Opening.

9-12 May | The Future of Craft x London Craft Week 2019
A special event for London Craft Week 2019; Oxo Tower Wharf presents The Future of Craft in collaboration with Design-Nation and Future Icons. The exhibition will include curated line up of innovative and forward-thinking craft organisations, practitioners and collectives. Set against the raw, industrial surrounding of Bargehouse, visitors will discover a series of new works and installations by trail blazing makers working in textiles, furniture, ceramics, lighting, metal and interior accessories.
We are delighted to be part in the prestigious event, and visitors can discover our latest range of digitally printed fabrics and have the chance to meet with designer Gina Pipét throughout the event.
