Design Inspiration

La Major draws inspiration from the iconic striped facade of Marseille's Cathedral of Sainte-Marie-Majeure, locally known as 'La Major.' This geometric cotton captures the visual rhythm of the neo-Byzantine church's two-tone stonework, combining it with hand-drawn perspectives that create depth and dimension throughout the pattern. The design celebrates the cathedral's grand architecture—translating its vaults, arches, and distinctive striped exterior into a contemporary feature fabric.
