Delivery Service & Costs - Scarves & Accessories

 

UK DELIVERY

Free UK Delivery on orders over £95.00 (excludes Umbrellas)

UK: Small items  - £3.50 (Tracked 48)

UK: 1st Class, Signed-For  - £6.50 (1-3 days)

UK: Umbrellas - Oversized item - £12.00 (1-3 days)

UK delivery is to Mainland addresses

 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

USA - Postal Delivery Duties Paid (PDDP) - calculated at checkout.

EU - Due to prohibitive GSPR and export regulations it is not currently possible to ship our products to the European Union at this time. 

If your destination country isn’t showing at checkout it's unlikely we are able to ship to you. Please contact us for more information if you would like to make a purchase.  

 

USA - Custom Duties

Due to the removal of the de minimis threshold every shipment will now go through formal or informal customs entry and be assessed import duties, taxes, and fees.

Postal Delivery Duties Paid (PDDP) is a service whereby duties are handled by Royal Mail and the overseas customs authority/delivery partner so that the recipient does not incur any additional cost at the doorstep. Instead duties are calculated and collected at the point of sale. Final charges may include broker fees and charges applied by our service provider.

Royal Mail Compensation is up to £250 per shipment. Please contact us before placing a large value order containing multiple items.

What happens to returned items?

Items that need to be returned to the UK will be returned using an equivalent service. Please note that for any items that need to be returned from USA to the UK the request for refund of customs duty does not apply.

    Important information


    Delivery times 

    UK Delivery time on stock items is from posting date and is estimated 1-3 days.

    Standard International delivery time on stock items is around 7-14 working days

    Please note this may not necessarily be the date you place your order. Weekends and Bank Holidays are not considered working days. A signature will be required on delivery. 

    *IMPORTANT: Items may be subject to individual Custom Regulations. Please check your country's list of Prohibited and Restricted Goods before placing your order. 

     

    Umbrellas 

    It is with regret that we are unable to deliver our Full Length Umbrellas outside of the United Kingdom due to high delivery costs associated with extra large items. 

    UK Delivery is with Parcelforce and Royal Mail. 


    Custom charges

    PIPÉT is not responsible for any custom or import charges, taxes, duties or delay that may occur. Any such charges are to be paid by the importer (the customer) in their country. We advise you to check with your local Customs Office beforehand.

    The Buyer is responsible for any fees, Custom, Export/Import charges, taxes or delay that may occur resulting from a Returned Item. Where necessary these charges will be deducted from the sale price of the goods, and a partial refund granted. 

    PIPÉT reserves the right to change or use an alternative delivery service without notice. Any changes that may affect delivery of a purchase will be communicated to the customer as soon as possible.

     

    Returning an item

    For cancelled purchases or unwanted items brought through the online store, the customer is responsible for the delivery cost of returning their item. (Standard delivery costs will be refunded on faulty goods only, or whereby goods do not comply within the contract or order).

     We are unable to refund the cost of postage on any unwanted SALE items that are returned.

    The Buyer is responsible for any fees, Custom, Export/Import charges, taxes, duties or delay that may occur resulting from a Returned Item. Where necessary these charges will be deducted from the sale price of the goods, and a partial refund granted.

    Our payment provider charges credit card processing fees for each transaction. Depending on the reason for return, credit card processing fees may be withheld, and a partial refund granted.

     

    Failed Delivery 

    If your item cannot be delivered, or for any reason you fail to accept the delivery, resulting in the goods being returned to us, then we will first contact you with the option to either 1) Re-arrange the delivery and pay full delivery costs or 2) Cancel the order.

    If we do not hear back from you within 7 days, we will Cancel the order on your behalf. 

    If we need to cancel the order, we will refund the cost of the item paid providing the goods are received in perfect condition, unused, unopened and fit for resale. Delivery costs will not be refunded. Credit card processing fees may be deducted from the refunded amount.
